Remarks
There is only one problem with IMT Ghaziabad is its batch size, it is way too large because of which the environment becomes highly competitive, apart from that there is nothing wrong with the Institute, even though the batch size is large, still more than 95% of the students get placed in good companies. The reason for joining this college was its placement record, all the companies that visit top IIMs come to this college too for hiring.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are really good, as most of them have been part of the industry for many years and have left the corporate world to pursue teaching. Of course, there are few professors whose teaching style is a bit different, you won't find their classes that interesting but the majority of them are really good.
Internships Opportunities
90% of the batch receives internship from within the campus, very few students remain unplaced or get their internships from off-campus. The highest stipend goes up to 1.5 Lacs per month by companies like ITC, Nestle etc.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is way better than even most of the IIMs as the college has a strong Alumni network and has been part of the industry for many years, hence most of the companies that don't even visit TIER 2 colleges, visits IMT. The average package for most of the students is more than 12LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in IMT Ghaziabad is approximately 20LPA, which includes accommodation and food expenses too. As per the fees, the facilities provided are really good, you have everything on the campus which you need to pursue your post-graduation and get placements comfortably. Based on the facilities provided the fees is justified.
Campus Life
Even though most of our classes went online due to the Covid protocols, the college was shut, but Seniors helped a lot to make sure that we have an experience that is similar to what they had, especially in terms of exposure. We had our Fresher online, surprisingly it was quite fun too, many events happen regularly to provide the right amount of exposure to the students.
Interview Experience
IMT Ghaziabad doesn't conduct a Group Discussion, it is more like a case discussion which is followed by a Personal Interview. It is critical in a case discussion to be as assertive as possible but don't be aggressive. Personal Interview generally revolves around current affairs and subject knowledge.
