IIFT is a premier B-School in India with a rich legacy of 57 years, highly decorated faculties, rigorous curriculum and strong alumni base, it's flagship program- MBA (International Business) is surely one of the best programs in the country. The admission process involves a written test followed by WAT, GD and PI. Pros:- Best faculty with rigorous & updated curriculum, the Rich legacy of 57 years and strong alumni base, Great placements opportunity, Trade specialization. Cons:- Relatively small campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Along with specialization in International Business, students are exposed to domains like Finance, Marketing, Trade, Strategy, and Operations and can opt to major in any of them. Along with academics, students are also provided field exposure in form of port visits (both domestic and international).
Internships Opportunities
Similar to final placements, IIFT hosts the leading recruiters in all domains during the summer internship process as well. Average stipend: Rs. 1.68 lakh for 2 months. Average stipend (of the top 25% of the batch): Rs. 2.68 lakh for 2 months. Highest stipend: Rs. 3.2 lakh for 2 months.

Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fee for the program for two years is approx Rs 18 Lakh (excluding hostels and mess charges). The fee structure is similar to the other tier 1 MBA colleges in the country. Few scholarships are also available for some students.
Campus Life
IIFT is a student-run college where students organize various events and fests. IIFT's cultural fest, Quo Vadis, is among the best cultural fests across all the b-schools in the country. Annual business conclave: Tradewinds and annual sports fest: Adrenaline are other major highlights of our campus life. Apart from these, various clubs, cells, and committees also organize multiple events.
Interview Experience
The admission process involves WAT, GD, and a personal interview. The topic for my GD was 'Will artificial intelligence replace human work force'. The topics for WAT and GD were different. The interview questions majorly revolved around the detailed CV form we were asked to fill prior to the process.
