Remarks
Based on the calls that I had, IMT Ghaziabad was the best, it is even better than most of the new IIMs in my opinion as it has been there for a very long time therefore most of the top companies are already associated with this college because of which many companies that don't visit few of the IIMs, visits IMT Ghaziabad for hiring, apart from that it is situated in Delhi NCR where most of the corporates have their head or branch offices.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is similar to most of the B-Schools in Tier 2. It is quite rigorous, first few months it is difficult to manage time as there are classes, competitions, assignments, quizzes, test, exams to manage, all at once, but within few months, you get used to it, you learn how to prioritize your work. Professors are really helpful and supportive, they are ready to go beyond their call of duty to make sure that students have the best possible learning.
Internships Opportunities
Internship experience this year was really different as all are GD/PI process was online, still, in such a scenario, most of the companies who were regular recruiter in our college were hiring. The highest stipend has gone up to 1.5 lacs per month, on average students get a stipend of 25k-35k per month. More than 90 of the batch gets an internship from within the campus, there are very few people who look from outside.
Placement Experience
Placements are really good, even though IMT Ghaziabad lies in Tier 2, still the placements are as good as top IIMs, most of the companies that visit top IIMs and other premier B-Schools visits IMT for hiring, companies like HUL, ITC, RB, ICICI, HDFC etc all come for hiring. Even the packages are really good, most of the batch gets a package that is above the Average. There are very few people who either opt-out or take off campus opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in IMT Ghaziabad is quite similar and at par with most of the other B-Schools who are in the same league, for people who want to pursue an MBA from a good college, this the fees which you will find most of the B-Schools charging. Based on the learning and exposure, the fees are justified as students who are passing out from IMT are always ready to take any difficult situation they face as they have been part of a rigorous curriculum.
Campus Life
Right now we all are attending classes from home and surprisingly the experience isn't bad, faculties, seniors and Admins are doing their best to make sure that students get the best amount of learning which they would have if the classes were offline, All the materials which are there in the library has been provided online, we even had our freshers party online. From what we have heard from our seniors is that it is the best experience that you can have as a student.
Interview Experience
IMT conducts a case discussion round wherein a group of students are give a case and are asked to come up with a possible solution together and the whole group has to reach a final solution which everybody agrees with. Apart from that, there is WAT and PI, PI generally revolves around your academic background, prior work experience, internships or certifications done etc. The key is to be well prepared and be thorough with your profile
