Mayank Gupta's Review On School Of Open Learning, University Of Delhi - [SOLDU], New Delhi

I was doing CA, so i opt of School of open learning distance education from Delhi University (B.com).

I was doing CA, so B.com is very much easy as it has same subjects and very less basic course as compared to CA. But some subjects are also of 11th & 12th class it was fun to study those subject again, overall nice syllabus selected by Delhi university. But Financial management and costing are worst subjects.

No college does not provide internship but there are 6 months vocational programmes which you can join and do as an internship, those are specialisation courses in each subject, it also helps a lot in growing in future.

No there was no job placement there as it was a distance education programme so no job placements they offered, but seminars for regular students held it also includes students of School of open learning, but for SOL only there was no special campus placement .

There were no events and celebrations held at School of Open learning, Delhi University, if held i was not aware of those programmes as i had already told in above points i was busy in doing CA so not able to give much attention on graduation part as CA was much important for me.

School of Open learning is very much less expensive, everyone can afford it as only 4000-5000 was annual fee of course and no extra examination fees, for every society people School of Open learning helps on that fee issue, but very comfortable to take admission.

No I had not taken any loan facility as fee structure was good no issue regarding that. Also i had not got any scholarship in college or even in school.

I had not taken lunch in mess or say canteen, and also I don't have any awareness on hostel part, means to say i have no information regarding that School of open learning provides hostel facility or not, and i had visited campus many times but not seen any mess there.

I had not attended classes of School of open learning as I was busy in doing CA. But other reviewed that management and faculty was good and understand students problem, also good in asking solution of problems asked by students. Even they had whats-app group and share problems there only and same solution given by teachers there only.
