Remarks

This is the best college in Ludhiana, it is near to my home that's I opt it. College is good but if you want any paperwork then it takes very time like government work. Now you will get admission very easily just go www.gndec.ac.in at admission corner upper right side. This College near my home & prestigious college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in machines that's why I choose mechanically. Here the faculty-student ratio is 1 faculty on 25 students. All faculty are master or p.hd. Teaching methods are good as we know everything with example & explanation. Not difficult to pass mostly 90 days of teaching in 6 months

Internships Opportunities

I visit Mahindra company as an intern for 6 months. Here every student gets 6 months to visit in a company like an intern. There are many roles offered to them. We do no. Of project here easily. But sometimes we don't give attention.

Placement Experience

Here a total of 800 students per year & about 450 students gets college campus placement. Or no. Getting a job in the armed force or other gov. Jobs. Upto 65 companies visit. Here like Infosys,coca cola, Amazon, hero, Tata, Mahindra, etc. 55% of students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general you have to pay 1 sem 60k then about 45k every sem. But for SC ST its fee structure is nothing just 5 to 8k per semester. Scholarship mostly provided to Sc st for general with good academic-only 1 scholarship

Campus Life

Here every week there is a normal fest by college society. The annual fest is a 4-5 biggest event. Most 1 big event in 3 months. In the library about 10 to 15k books & journals available. Classrooms are good with 6 biggest windows with 10 fans. Every sport is available here, NCC, NSS at the upper level. The biggest ground for cricket, football, hockey, etc.

Hostel Facilities

A normal bed, fan, study table, balcony. The meal is good it changes every day. Morning breakfast every day then Lunch & dinner at the mess. Registering online by paying about 7k for a hostel. Or you can also get pg near it easily in that area

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission here was from 2 rounds of open counseling and I got admission in 2 nd round. The cutoff for my course was about 85%. There was no such exam as entrance exam .
