Remarks

The admission process is on a merit basis which is based on your best 4 of 12th marks. Good - Dyal Singh College is the biggest south campus college and it is ranked 21 in NIRF ranking. I am pursuing my BCom(Hons.) From this college and teachers are very cooperative. It is nearby a metro station which Jawahar Lal Nehru metro station. The nearest market from this college is the khan market.

The reason for choosing the course is the placements of Delhi university is great and I am also pursuing ca than it becomes useful taking admission as both syllabi are maximum similar to each other. Teachers are well qualified and PhD degree holder with a minimum experience of 30 years. The teaching methods are very unique and special. Every semester end having an exam and there is a total of 6 semesters in my course. If you studied timely and continuously then it is not difficult to top in college or your course.

Yes, my college provides internships Which is a very good thing for college students to increase their knowledge in their own field and also in others. There are internships like for 2 months 3 months to 6 months in which the company gives you a certificate and also some money.

Placement Experience

For a 5th semester student placement is available, many companies come into Dyal Singh college like EY, Deloitte and highest package till now 12 lakhs and the average package will be somewhere in between 3 to 4 lakhs and at an average 50% students gets placed. My plan is currently I am ca inter student so I am going to complete my CA

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of completing the course will be as follows: Admission fees for 1st year will be 16000 approx. And for the 2nd year, it will be somewhere between 13000-14000 and thereafter for 3rd year it will be 10000 approx and also some exam fees you have to pay every year ranging from 1000-2000.

Campus Life

There are many books available in the college library and there is also the availability of journals. College also offers many online journal and books facility for free of cost. Classrooms having proper benches and desk and board with marker and many classrooms having a projector as well. There are many eca in colleges like NCC and NSS and our college is also known for sports due to its big sports ground. There are many clubs like enactus and dance group

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I have applied for I have applied for few of the north campus colleges and few other colleges from the South campus. I got confirmed admission form DCAC. I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination. No I didn't applied for any other college and I choose this college over other college because of the course and the exposure which I get in this college it might be possible I will not get in any other college.
