Remarks

This college is well developed and has a very good infrastructure. Teachers are really good and helpful and are mostly active in everything. The only that is not good about this college is that the placement cell is not up to the mark. The admission process is really simple. Just go and tell your course and percentage and fill up the simple forms. Seniors also help to guide you for the same. This college has a very good culture. The next admission dates will be around July august for the 2021-22 year. The reason for preferring this college over others is that this college is a mix of all kind of people. You will get extraordinary teachers and a very good diversity of students. Jannat at Khalsa college is the best place to hang out with friends when bunking classes. I used collegedunia for reviewing this college and it's a very good place to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am interested in computer science that's why I chose this course. Although placement for cs is not really good at this college you do get the best of the teachers for the same. The faculty is really good and there are 4-5 teachers for every semester. Also, they are friendly and are very very active in helping and providing support. Faculty is well qualified and even PD Sharma Sir is graduated from IIT Delhi so he is a very very good teacher. Exams are average difficulty and are conducted every month for a subject. In all, every subject have 2-3 exams per semester and assignments

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligible for placement in the 3rd year. Placement cell named Ignite run by the monopoly of BCom Hons students do not cover many internships and placements for computer science and sciences students. Most of the jobs are for commerce students and one of my friend named Vanmit Kaur is in the core team of the Placement Cell. She is doing a really bad job and is not giving good placements. Really this college is not having a good placement cell and yes there are many big names that come for the placement but not at all up to the marked income they provide. I would not recommend placement cell as it's real shit and fake placement cell and one should upgrade their skills to get a placement not depend on these people.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is also really good. The overall fees for computer science Hons are just 25,000-30,000Rs which is both affordable and good for students who want to avail themselves the best of their knowledge. The college is good at providing financial support. They even give you options for cutting the fees in half for 2 semesters and also provide scholarships and can provide a good amount of funding for the same.

Campus Life

5

I was the president of CurieuX- The Computer Science Society of Khalsa College and I can assure you will get the best out of the society here. The annual fest- Lashkara is also really good. Social life at college is well. And tech fest is also very good. Fests are conducted once every year in the month of January, February and March. There is a lot of crowd during fest time and also sports fest is also organized in this college. Books are available for every aspect and course in the library. This college's library is the largest of all in the whole Delhi University and is having new and updated books every new week. Amenities are well settled in the classrooms. Every room has a projector that can be connected via wifi and there is wifi connection all over the college campus. Blackboards and chalks are readily available to students and teachers. Sports fest are organized every year and one can visit the campus and website for more information.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
