A good college to persue BTech

The admission procedure is through the OJEE exam, after which counseling will be done according to the merit list. I got this college through the same process. This is one of the best colleges in terms of faculty and placement in Odisha. The way its administration rules this college is impressive. It cares most about students' proper placement and quality educations. I read many articles itn quora, collegedunia, sikhsha.com about the college and thus preferred this College. The negative point is not a big one yet considerable. The food provided is not so good. It may lead to improper digestion and pain in the stomach.

The best part about this College is its facilities. The professors are impressively good. They make us understand in an easy way and always relate the thesis with day-to-day examples. Yet, the teachers are strict and discipline is the major aspect they consider. We have a total of 8 semesters in the 4 years of B Tech along with mid-sem in between them. The exams are quite hard and it is hard to get above 7cgpa.

Yes, the College provides internship facilities, especially in the summer holidays. The students here often do internships in cognizant and some IITs and nits under the professors. The college has signed many MOU with the government and companies to provide students good facilities for internship

The campus placement is very good here as compared to other colleges in Odisha. Many companies like byjus, cognizant, TCS, Wipro, infosis, and many others visit during placement. The average package provided is 5 lakh per annum and the highest package varies from 22 lakh to 28 lakh. The placement percentage is around 80%. My plan after getting a degree is to opt for the GATE exam and Mtech in IIT.

The fees including tution fees, food, transportation, hostel fees are 180000 per annum in which 90000 is the tution fees, 20000 is hostel fees, 15000 is transportation fees and 36000 is for food. It is cheaper than most of the colleges in Odisha. The college gives a scholarship of 100% tution fees waver if you got a place in top 3 in semester exam in your batch while 40% fees waver if you get above 9 CGPA.

The campus life is osum. We have an annual cultural fest called WAVES. And do have many technical fests like Octoberfest, Hackathon, etc. We have a gym facility here and an indoor stadium. We regularly have a kabaddi competition, badminton match, basketball match etc. The College has many groups robotics clubs, renewable energy club, coading club,etc. We have two libraries. One is the Central Library which has a collection of the huge amount of books and the other we have in hostel where we can get our syllabus books.

We have two hostel buildings for boys, HR-1 and HR-2. The environment of the hostel is too good, feels like a second home. We have a game room on each floor where we have carrom, chess, pool, table tennis, etc. The food quality is not so good. The food seems without and taste and aren't properly cooked.

The admission is through OJEE which is conducted by Odisha educational board. In counseling the her rank holder and OJEE rank holder both can take part and according to the merit , you will get the college. The exam of OJEE has the syllabus of class 11 and 12.
