1- it's a central government-funded technical institution. 2-It has the well infrastructure and a big green campus in 451 acres and the campus is known as "Suburban". 3-The competition among students is very high as everyone is admitted through jee mains score. So you will get a competitive environment around you. 4- It has a very nominal fee. 5-All the facilities are graduated/post graduated from premier institutions of India. 6-The placement scenario is average. Companies such as Tech Mahindra, Infosys, tcs and many service-based companies visited our campus. The highest package awarded is 12 lakhs with an average package of 4 lakhs. Some of the bad aspects of institutions are:- 1- it is located in a remote area. 2- You will hardly get a gate or any competitive exam coaching around the college. Sliet offers admission in diploma through sliet SET and In B.tech/B.E through josaa counseling and diploma students are promoted in B.E through lateral entry exam conduct by the institution itself.

I opted for the course Diploma because of the following reasons:- 1- It is one of the best colleges in India for diplomas. 2- Because it provides lateral entry to its diploma students with reservation in promotion exam. The student-faculty ratio is 1:100. All the facilities are graduated/post graduated from premiere institutions of India like iit,nit. The qualifications of faculty are btech/B.e and mtech followed by PhD. As all the facilities are from the best institutions of India so every faculty has a unique style of teaching method which is awesome. You will get to learn alot of things from them. And they are very supportive even you are trying something out of the box. The exams are conducted on the fixed date which is given on the academic calendar and they are released at starting of every academic year. The exam pattern is very easy. You can score decent marks with a very limited hours of studies.

A very few internship opportunities are available on campus such as doubtnut visited the campus for the role of teacher. Every student tries to get an internship off-campus by their own efforts. Almost no mnc's offer internship on campus but I hope it will get better with time.

Almost 90% of students are placed in various companies. Many men's such as Infosys, tcs, Godrej, nestle, d & h secheron electrons Pvt. Ltd., Infogain, ralson, Sonalika groups visited our campus and about 120 students are placed in these companies. And many local companies and start-up visit our campus for recruitment such as Yara fertilizers, welspun group, Bonn nutrients, bursys, etc, and about 60 students are placed in these companies. And my plan after getting the degree is to pursue higher studies.

The fee structure is very nominal:- For Diploma students 11000 per semester including hostel charges, tuition fees, and all hidden charges in it. And rs.2500 is charged per month for food/mess charge. For B.E./B.Tech 37000 per semester including hostel charges, tuition fees, and all hidden charges in it. And rs.2500 is charged per month for food/mess charge. The hike in fees is around 8-10% per year. The scholarship is provided to poor students who are top rankers in their respective classes. After the admission procedure, the scholarship form is provided by the institution to students.

The campus life is awesome and the annual fest name changes every year like it was conducted by the name 'Social Fest' last year and in 2019 it was organized with the name 'Kweizar' usually it is conducted in October -November. And the tech fest is organized in Feb - March. There is a big library on campus with almost 2 lakhs book in it. As well as you will get daily newspapers and magazines there. The classrooms are big and well furnished. Also, there are some smart classrooms with smart boards. Almost you will get the opportunity to play every single sport on the client's campus such as basketball, football. And inter-college sports competition is conducted every year. There are many clubs on sliet campus such as HOH &BMW for modeling and acting and ISTE for mechanical engineers and SSDC for computer science and electronics engineers and there are club named junkyard & endeavors which participates in various colleges tech fests and hackathons on a national level.

For first-year admitted students a big room is allotted with three beds and three wall almirahs and three chairs with study table for three 3 students. And if the room is on the first or second floor you will get a balcony too. The hostel is cleaned on daily basis. The meal provided by hostel mess is average and you may call it best according to price. The hostel menu is simple:- In a break, fast potatoes stuffed parathas are served with a glass of milk and egg 4 days a week. And on remaining days simple paratha, poha, bread are served respectively. And in lunch, rice and chapati with rajma dal and salad and seasonal vegetables are served on 4 days of a week. And on remaining days Chola Bhatia, veg biryani, fried rice are served respectively. The dinner is almost the same as lunch. The hostel is allowed during the time of semester registration. You may choose a pg too according to your convenience.
