Entrance Preview
I took WBJEE, and my rank was 10000 approx. With this ranking I had this college in my mind to opt, which I could see the best at that moment. And it was one of the well renowned college in kolkata.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was very good. It was well structured and synchronized in way that what should be covered before and what later. Professors were well familiar with the curriculum. Practical classes were planned accordingly. Whatever we studied in our classroom it was practically elucidated in the practical classes.
Internships Opportunities
Our college did provide internship but there was no stipend for that. Overall experience was very good.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities were good. A number of good companies came during our campus period like: TCS, ZS infotech and many more. There interview process were little tough. Average package offered by them was around 3.25 lakhs. Highest package offered by a company was 6 lakhs per month.
College Events
When we entered the college, a freshers party was offered by college to welcome us which was very good. Every year college provided us some funds to organize technical fest during springs. Where people from different college came to participate in different events like robotics, counter strike , NFS and many other games.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was on average good. The amount we needed to pay every semester was 30000/- approx including tuition fees, infrastructure fee, examination fee, registration fee and others.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was around 11:9. People were very good. There was no such discrimination depending on race, religion, sexual orientation and others. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We did a lot of fun and enjoyed everyday of our college.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was as usual semester wise. We had go through 3 internal examinations during every semester and one main examination at the end of semester. One semester was for 6 months hence there were 8 semester throughout the 4 years. We had to make a project in our last semester where we were needed to showcase our technical knowledge.
Faculty
Faculty member were one of the best thing about this college. I still remember everyone of them and there way of solving our problems. Our HOD was very helpful. Their expertise level was very good in their subjects they taught. If we had any issue with some topics which we couldn't understand during session they provided us extra sessions for that.
