Because my rank was not that good and at this rank, this is the best colleges. As it has a very good infrastructure it has all the facilities that a good college should have a clean and green campus, nice hostel, nice classroom, swimming pool, canteen, restaurant, student activity centre, shopping complex. For taking admission to this college one need to appear in JEE Mains and then JOSSA counselling. I have chosen mechanical, as it is the oldest existing department and will remain existing in future and it also has immense opportunity. Our college curriculum is the latest and includes the latest technological development. In the mechanical branch, we have one of the good faculties and they have good knowledge but they don't teach that good. Most of the faculties are PhD. There are 60 students out of which only 2 are girls. There are 1 major, 2 minors, 4 Assignment and 2 quizzes for every subject and exams are mostly taken as per the academic calendar provided to us.

Campus placement is available. Companies like Welpsum, L&T, Mahindra and Mahindra etc recruit students from the mechanical department. Students are eligible for sitting in placement from the 6th semester. Rs. 3.5 lakh per annum is the average placement. Most of the students choose GATE for higher studies and the percentage of students qualifying for GATE is higher than those appearing in placement.

The fee is low as compared to most of the engineering colleges in India. It only takes 63,000 for a year including the hostel, mess fee is charged 2,500 rupees per month additionally. There is financial assistance like poor student fee waiver scheme and fee waiving schemes for the top 5% of students of every class on the basis of rank. There is no in campus internship provided on campus. Students have to look for internships online.

Campus life is amazing, we have an annual techfest and annual cultural fest named Madhuram. We have a central library having 10,000 books and a study hall above the library. We have a sports ground and student activity centre for indoor games. We have an annual sports fest every year. There are many clubs in our college like Endeavour, Green Ranger etc.

In the hostel, we are provided with a bed and chair, tube light and fan in our room. Food quality is food not so good. Students can opt for a hostel at the time of admission. But sanitation is maintained bathrooms and corridor are cleaned twice a day. The hostel is cheap and affordable.

We have to appear for JEE Mains and it is a computer-based examination of 300 marks containing physics, chemistry and mathematics. On the basis of marks obtained percentile is decided and based on that rank is declared and on the basis of rank counselling takes place on JOSSA and CSAB and then admission happens by seat allotment.
