Entrance Preview

I opted for BSC. Physics, I scored 65 %. This college was near to my house and I heard a lot about his college.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum was very nice as per the guidelines of the Mumbai University. The physics labs were very good. They contained all the equipments required to complete the physics practicals. Also, the support from the other staff in performing practicals was helpful.

Internships Opportunities

Not sure about the internship, because I had never been into this scenario of Internship. I feel that if approached to the Management, we can get details about the internship. As per my knowledge the time when I appeared for the college, at then there was no internship provided by the college.

Placement Experience

1

I was not into the criteria of getting job placement. I had never been into the scenario where there are any kind of job placements provided by the college. However, if someone learns the things well and scores good in the exams then I don't think that anyone needs to be dependent on the placement facility of any college. Your marks can do all the required things for you.

College Events

1.5

When I was in the college we had the event of football match. The match was between the students of the final year from different departments. Our department team didn't win the match, but the sportsman spirit was one main thing that we got to see among all the people in the different department teams.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I personally felt that the fee structure is very feasible. It costed me approximately 4500 rupees for the entire year that I had appeared over there. Compare to most of the collages in our locality, the fee structure over there was very low and was very affordable for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there was no loan facility provided by the college. I am not sure of the scholarship facility provided by the college. At then I think some kind of scholarship was provided, but since I was never into the category of the scholars, hence cannot comment much about the scholarship being provided by the college.

Campus Life

2.5

The college had a normal campus life. The college area is not very big hence nothing much can be expected from it. The gender ratio seemed to be 50 -50. The labs were very good. The sports facility again was not much healthy.

Exam Structure

I appearred this college in my third year (i.e. Final Year). They conduct the preliams twice The pattern of the paper in the preliams is very good. The exams are conducted in the strict environment and with strict monitoring, where none can copy the things. This helps students and tearchers in assessing the things better.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty in the Vartak college is very good. They are very well aware of the details of the course. They teach very well. They help students in learning practicals. Its great honour to learn from the faculty from Vartak College. Even the other staff in the college is also quite helpful. We have learnt many things from our faculty in Vartak College.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
