IIT-JEE Exam All India Rank - 2180 This branch was not available anywhere else. I had the option to take mechanical, chemical and other branches but with the guidance of my father, I took this option.

I would say the course curriculum was supposed to be updated. But that is true for the course curriculum for the subject across the country.

The college had arranged for summer internship in National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. It was an amazing experience to work with the then advanced methodologies of material characterization that could be of potential usage in Pharmaceutical Industries.

Placements and job opportunities were many. In fact, the Training and Placement office offered ample opportunities to all the students to demonstrate their talent before right set of companies.

Well when I was in the college, the technical festival named Technex was held annually. Annual cultural Festival was held called as KashiYatra. And the annual sports festival was called Spardha. In my final year, there was a management festival also started called as Opulence.

Fees was highly subsidized and we thank the authorities for keeping it that way. Even scholarships were made available to needy students. I had lost my father in my first year but due to very subsidized fees and scholarships, I could sustain my education without much difficulty. Even the faculty members were very co-operative and offered me financial help although by God's grace it was not required.

The college had offered various scholarship facilities. I did of avail of any loan facilities so I cannot comment on it.

I will say, the campus life is Superb. Everyone had the opportunity to grow in the field of their choice. There was a Gymkhana that organized so many activities for students and with reasonable efforts, any body could take part in it. Specifically the first year students were given more preference to participate in activities so that they can open up there personality.

The hostels were magnificent in size and also well maintained. Compared to other IITs, the food was better in the mess we had. The mess management was in the hands of the student.

College seniors and alumni are always there to help you but you need to hook them properly so that they can help you out adequately. There was a very strong alumni network.

They followed semester structure. Total 8 semesters. There were two mid-semester exams and one final exam. There was reasonable balance of life for any sincere student to excel on all academic fronts.

The faculty was amazing and really co-operative. You just need to demonstrate your diligence and seriousness and they are more than willing to help.
