Remarks

Second thing which I don't like about the college is its location and the size of the college,it is right in the Center of the city and you will see 100 police officers roaming around your college (vidhan Soudha place station ) and if you a claustrophobic person you will have a tough time to get adjusted with college building.

Entrance Preview

JEE for ihm,I scored around 4000 for the entrance exam and opted for ihm Bangalore .processing was pretty easy ,have to go to different college for counseling ,depends on the area ,for me it was ihm chennai (south zone).

Course Curriculum Overview

4

You will get a proper exposure when you go for training during ur second year ,that will give a clear idea which department you want to join or whether to even stay in this industry course wise you will have to go through a lot exams and practical assessments and all the 3 years you will need to write IGNOU (all ihms come under it ).

Internships Opportunities

Talking about the internship or training our college had/ or still have the best recruitment all or the ihms they will give you so many options for training in hotels(which is a must in this industry.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are the best in here .by the end of the college year you will at least have 2 jobs in had if you are decently smart there are many international and country brands coming in for recruitment end of the day you will get a job once you pass out with any papers left behind.

College Events

3.5

As its central government institution, please don't expect many functions and celebrations in the college but still our college managed to celebrate, attend and host many prestigious functions and competitions students get opportunity to go for various international completions also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Best part of this college is the fees structure you can easily get a scholarship, and Sen wise it's hardly coming up to 45-50k, I'm pretty sure that if you go to no governmental college you'll end up spending that amount per month ,so in a way it very feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't offer any scholarship but of course you opt one privately through banks and other local organizations which provide scholarship for students ,but you will need valid documents for the same.

Campus Life

3

Talking about the gender ratio ,sorry to disappoint,it is like 3:10 out of 10 students only 3 will be females out of 7 males students so now you have an idea about the gender ratio in out college and talking about the extra curricular activity i can say my college was way better compared to other hotel management colleges so yeah they give importance to everything.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hotel facility was the only problem which I found in this college it was around 8-10 kilometers from the college it self and they wouldn't provide any source or transportation ,but in a way it's good because you'll end learning about the city if you are really new to it.

Alumni/Alumna

Second best thing about our college is the alumni network wherever you go (in hotels especially ) you will end up seeing at least 2-3 pass outs from your college which will surely help you in many things let it be in career wise or personal benefits they all are ready to help you at given point of time.

Exam Structure

Talking about the exams ,it is not that though to pass through the exams ,an over night group study is more than enough if you just wanna pass and get out the college ,other wise if a you are person who like top ,then you will need to put little effort which will surely give good results during ur recruitment processing because many companies have minimum criteria to even sit for the interview.

Faculty

4

Our faculties were so supportive and experienced in the industry that you will never even have a second thought of changing the industry.they will train you in such a way that you can withstand all the pressure from this industry(you will have hell lot of pressure trust me ).

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
