Pretty good

IIM Lucknow is one of the top 6 IIMs in India. IIM Lucknow is pretty good for students who are freshers as they do not have special markings in merit for work ex-people. Being started in 1984, IIM Lucknow has a good base of alums that provide students with a wide range of options for future aspects. Talking about the bad aspect, IIM Lucknow is known as Hell among IIMs because of heavy academic rigour. Fully academic driven institute and so students are pretty much focused on study which sometimes lacks all-around development when compared to other top IIMs.

ABM curriculum, of IIM Lucknow, is pretty good which provide us good all-around exposure of Agribusiness aspects. The quality of the faculty is pretty bad because old known professors have not been replaced on time. Institute lack professor with updated current market scenarios. Exams are easy to pass if you are being disciplined in attending classes. The teaching method is completely case-based and so it's not hectic to compete in exams. But regular projects submissions and deadlines, make life at Hell pretty chaotic.

Internships are offered with a wide range of roles available for everyone. Mostly 80+ companies visit campus for internships and the average stipend is around 1 lakh per month. Projects of the internship are widely distributed from marketing to finance to different aspects of futuristic technology.

Placement week is mostly held in January. Students are eligible for campus placements after the 4th semester. Placement details are easily available on google, mostly 150+ companies visit campus for placements. IIM Lucknow has a record of completing placements in 2 days with 100% final placements. IIM Lucknow provided me with exposure to marketing and various aspects of analytics, I would like to use my IIM platform to having a future in the analytics field.

The fees structure is updated regularly, for the 2017-19 batch it was 14 LPA. There is no special financial assistance provided for students. But for the economically weaker section, there is a provision in PGP Manual for financial assistance.

Life at the campus is pretty hectic during the first few months because of back to back CV submissions for summer placements which held in Oct every year. So after summer placement, life is pretty chill because of social life and club selection. Once selected for clubs, life is pretty enjoyable with the inclusion of so many activities.

Hostel facility is included in college cost as it is mandatory for everyone whosoever is attending the program from IIM Lucknow. The quality of hotels are good but they are pretty bad when compared to other new management institutes. Mess is student-run and so the quality of food is really good. The menu for mess is also updated regularly.

There was no GD, as for IIMs there is provision for WAT and PI. My WAT was completely focused on the CSR activities of the corporate companies and their impacts on society. Being fresher, my interview was completely focused on my undergrad projects and technical knowledge about engineering.
