The first one has to qualify for the WBJEE entrance exam with a good rank for getting this college. It has a very good placement ratio, almost 85% of students gets placed here. Infrastructure is not good but pretty good because you have to pay only 2450 per year.
Course Curriculum Overview
It has 16 different departments in engineering and technology. All the teachers and faculties are very good and helpful. I am pursuing instrumentation and Electronics Engineering and in my class, there are 60 students. The boys and girls ratio is almost 20:1 here which is not impressive.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, many companies visit for internships like Flipkart, Amazon, Adobe, ONGC, IBM, TCS and many more. They offer internship in various fields. You can find many offers if you are good in any field and your academic performance is atleast average.
Placement Experience
The placement is very good. Almost all companies visit here every year. They are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Adobe and many more. Almost 85% of students get placed here. In 2020 highest CTC was 67 LPA. The average CTC of CSE is 20 Los which is impressive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very impressive here. You have to pay only 2450 per year for any courses except Information Technology, you have to pay 30,000 per year for course information technology. You can get many scholarships like freeship, alumni scholarship and many more.
Campus Life
There are many fests like campus it is like freshers fest, tech fest like srijan generally in December and Asia's largest cultural fest Sanskriti in March. Here is the library where you can find any book and has reading rooms too for study. In JU basketball court, a large field, volleyball, badminton court is available. You can find many clubs here like the coding club, cultural club, photography club, science and robotics club and many more.
Hostel Facilities
You will get a personal room with only 300 per year but you have to pay a 2000 Per month messing fee also. The meal is not very good here for getting hostel you have to give an interview after that if you get selected then you will allocate a room in a hostel, but you can find pg near the college.
