Beautiful Journey

The level of study is very good in the university. It also placed a good rank among the state colleges and university. The faculty members of all the department are very informative and possess good knowledge. The infrastructure of the campus is too beautiful and quite large. All the branches especially the BTech and architecture of this university are good. The criteria of the admission process are totally based on the JEE Mains rank and the online counselling. There are also some physical rounds for the admission whose notice is advertised on the university official site. Along with the study, this university is also very active in other cultural and sports activities. The university also has a green building like the auditorium and there so many solar plants placed on the campus and hostels. The university has a shopping complex and also has a swimming pool.

I choose my BTech in Civil Engineering because I have a great interest in it. The department of civil engineering is also quite good. The ratio of faculty and student is 60:1. All the faculties are highly qualified with great teaching experience. Most of the teachers did PHD and some of them did MTech. Many of them had published their research papers also. Most of the teachers are very experienced and also very supportive. The exams were on time and honestly it not a big task to pass the examinations. If students give one or two hours regularly to their studies then they can easily pass them.

In their 7th or 8th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Maruti, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc are visiting our campus. But for the past few years, our placements are not going well. The number of companies visited is getting low. The highest package they offered is around 11 LPA - 13 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2.5LPA. Most of the companies hire students from the Computer science and Electronics branch. Most of the students get placements from off-campus. The percentage of placements getting including off-campus is around 60% - 70%. Most of the students are hired at an average package of 3 - 3.5 LPA. I plan to go for higher studies to gain some more knowledge.

The fee structure is not too high. It's affordable. Our campus provides scholarships like Merit scholarships, GATE scholarships, scholarship for backward class students etc. There is also a scheme name TFW which is (Tution fee waiver). In this student have to pay very few amount of fee in all the 8 semesters. It is basically for those students whose family income is very low. To get a campus job, you should have a required skill set. You should have good communication skills, technical skills etc. The student has to be active on various platforms like LinkedIn, naukari.com etc. Through these platforms, the student should be able to make connections, to get better opportunities.

The cultural annual fest is conducted in October or November in which many groups of the university and from other colleges participate. There is also a technical fest in February or march in which various technical activites are done. The civil engineering department of the university celebrates its personal civil fest too in March month. There are many international conferences and seminars also conducted. The library of the university is very good. It contains so many informative, useable, and competitive books. Some books are reserved for the SC and ST students. There is an annual sports meet which has many sports and games. Any student of any branch can participate either in single or group form. There is also an annually Marathon mostly on Basant Panchami in which free t-shirts are distributed among the students.
