I choose this college because this college is one of the top engineering colleges in South India and this college belongs to the SRM group which is a top and leading educational group in India and Faculties of this college are well educated and the infrastructure of this college is good when compared with the other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
From my childhood, my aim and passion are to study civil engineering. I chose this college for studying because civil engineering is the best college in Tamil Nadu. The faculty-student ratio is 1:3 and all the faculties working here are highly educated. The faculties working here will Explain the concepts in an easier way for better understanding. In a semester three internal exams are conducted within a gap of two or three weeks before the final exam and special classes are also conducted hence there is no difficulties are there for the passing of subjects and value-added courses are also conducted to gain additional knowledge.
Placement Experience
From the sixth semester, they starting the placement training classes. Top companies like Zoho, L&T, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS are recruiting students from this college for work. 4 lakhs - 10 lakhs per annum is the average package and nearly 90% of the students got placed in the companies every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are 80,000 per year for the students joined through the Anna university counselling. The fees were less when compared with the other colleges. All government scholarship is offered in this college. While comparing the infrastructure and additional facilities the fees were less when compared with the other colleges.
Campus Life
College day is celebrated every year in a grand manner. This college has a fully air-conditioned auditorium which is one of the biggest auditoriums in Asia. Symposiums are also conducted every year in a grand manner. This college has a two-storeyed library which contains more than fifty thousand books. Classrooms are large and spacious and every classroom is having a projector that helps students to understand the concepts easily. This college gives equal importance to studies and sports. This college has a large ground, basketball court etc. This college also has a Tamil mandram which helps to develop poetry and oratory skills in our mother tongue.
