Remarks

Gupta College of technological sciences is one of the best pharmacy colleges in West Bengal. Admission can be done by wbjee or jee mains examination. I was admitted on 12.10.2020, this college is better than any other colleges that's why I was admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because this course has many job opportunity. Faculty and student both are good there is the four-term exam in six months. the exams are difficult but if you read well everything can be done and the teachers help us also.

Course Fees: INR 408600 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Highest package 4-5 lac per annum. Approx 40% of students getting placements. I would like to join any pharmacy company after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

4 lac 8 thousand 6 hundred in 4 years 8 semester in it. Post-matric scholarship to SC/ST/OBC students. merit cum means scholarship. swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship. Sitaram Jindal foundation scholarship. IPA Bengal pharma and health care scholarship.

freshers for newly admitted batch. many books are available as our demand we don't have to buy books. cricket, football, singing, dancing, quiz, seminar etc activities are available. music club, photography club are also available.

The placement rate of our college is very good . Companies like macloeds, cipla, apollo, Glenmark,lupin , visits here to hire freshers in a decent amount. approx 65-70% students get placed in the campus,and reaming students are went for higher education in the different parts of the country.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
