Remarks
The best part about Satyavati college is, that the students get ample time to work on themselves. The admission process was typical Delhi University style, i.e., you are supposed to submit the form and wait for cut off, then you go to the college for admission. The cut-off of this college is really low as compared to other colleges at Delhi University. The fees of the college are tremendously low as compared to other colleges even in the university itself. Although it is an off-campus college, it is way better than many in-campus colleges. Plus, you get the same teachers as SRCC and other top-notch colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
BCom was among the best course that any college of Delhi university has to offer. The crowd is just way better than other BA courses. The faculty-student ratio is quite nice, a large proportion of students do not attend the classes so you do get proper attention from the teachers. The faculty members are well qualified and experienced. There are two semesters conducted each year that are not too difficult question-wise, but the checking is slightly on the harsh side.
Placement Experience
Final-year students are eligible for campus placements. The college has its own placement cell named Saksham. The highest package of 5 LPA was offered by the college. Various marketing, consulting, etc companies come to campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very nominal, around 7000 for the first-year students, and around 5000 for the third and second year. Also, financial assistance is provided, the fees are even lower for quota students.
Campus Life
Amazing campus life, you get to attend all the fests from all colleges of DU. The library is better than most of the DU colleges, proper availability of books and air conditioning is there. Sports and other extracurricular activities are held on a regular basis. There are more than 20 social groups run by students including NCC, fashion society, etc.
