About the Internships

Placement: The college has the best Placement among all the colleges of South Campus or the University of Delhi. It has even surpassed many North campus colleges in this factor. Faculty: The teaching faculty is really cooperative, responsible, but needs to be regular. Like there is a rare chance that all the four classes are taken by the teachers. Societies: There are more than 35 Societies in the college, that support the overall development of the students. They are related to various fields such as photography, music, Commerce, Finance, Investment, Creative writing. Infrastructure: Infrastructure is said to be good, though hostel facilities are not available. There is a big playground. Though I have not taken offline classes, the infra seems too good.

I chose Bachelors of Commerce (Honors) or simply B.Com(Hons) with Generic Elective as Economics. I chose this course because I want to study in detail the concepts of Commerce, i.e. Accounting and Business related studies. It also provides many options like pursuing MBA becomes easier, good placements are offered. There are almost 60 Students in each section, and 8 sections in total for B.Com Hons. Most of the teachers are young, but still highly qualified. Being of young age, they are well connected with students. But at times, we can feel that students get bored while in classes, so teachers have to wind up the class. We had our exams in March, but the results are still not announced.

Internship opportunities are being made available to students of every year, right from first to final I being a fresher got so many good Internship offers. The stipend range varies from 5000-20000 per month. Again, the placement cell plays a significant role by making the students available for these internships.

The placement cell of our college is said to be highly active. It gets the students with the highest of packages available in best of the National and Multinational companies. 6 out of 10 students are surely placed. The highest package was 6,00,000, with the lowest being around 2,20,000. 40% of the students got internships in renowned companies. The roles offered in companies were mainly financial advisors, audit assistant, etc.

The fees are nominal (7855 rupees). So that is not a big issue. So I don't require any scholarship. But the students of low income groups got scholarships for getting new opportunities. I got many offers of internship within few days of starting college.

Though I haven't taken any offline classes yet, But I am aware of some fests. Seniors say that all staff and students together equally play an important role in successful organizing a fest and making it fun loving and interesting

The process for our admission was purely online. We had no sort of interview or anything like that. We just had to get ourselves registered on the portal and apply for the Colleges we were eligible in after the cutoffs were out. It was a simple process, and with no difficulty, I got admission to the college
