One of the best colleges for Commerce

I took admission here because it is one of the best colleges for commerce on the south campus. SBSC ranks among the top 10 DU colleges for commerce and is of high repute. Although I have taken admission in the college in the Covid-19 phase, I managed to visit it once and I must say I had a great experience, the faculty members were polite and helpful and the campus was great. The admission was based on 12th marks and the process was conducted smoothly.

I chose this course because of my interest in it and it is one of the best course for anyone to pursue from this college. Faculty members are polite and helpful. Teachers are well experienced and helpful and are updated with the latest syllabus, they also clear doubts in an easy way. They provide notes too in pdf form. There is end term exam each semester and the paper was not too hard, not too easy, basic concepts should be clear and revision of notes are more than enough to score well.

You will get many internship opportunities in college. There is a separate internship cell in the college that will assist you in getting internships in some reputed companies. You can get paid and non paid internships and both will help you gain knowledge and experience to boost your CV.

The college has a decent placement record and there is a separate placement cell & internship Cell to assist you in placement. The internship cell is also very reputed & provide internship opportunities from recognised & reputed companies. Students are eligible to participate in placement drives from the 5th semester. About 50-60% of the students from this course got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruitment companies were various private banks like HDFC, ICICI, etc. The minimum percentage required to do an internship is 75% at our college. Top roles like a manager, supervisor and director are offered to the students.

The fees of the course are very nominal like you are paying only 7855 per year, also there are many scholarship opportunities based on different achievements. You will also get many chances for internships and there is also a separate internship cell and that will assist you in getting internships.

Based on my experience during my first visit to the college, it was really awesome and the college is located at a very good place, there are many food spots around there and amazing places around for wondering. It also has one of the best libraries across DU where you can find numerous study-related and informative books. The best part is that there are many college socities which you can join and it will help in your overall development, numerous activities and Competitions are conducted by these socities and are very exciting and knowledgeable. Students can engage in many activities like dance, fashion, art, B-Plan Competitions, social welfare etc. There is a separate block for morning and evening students.
