Remarks
My college is in Howrah, Kolkata. MCKVIE has the most helpful and supportive faculty members. They are always ready to help you, teach you and guide you. The college organizes tech fest, cultural fest, sports each year. Other activities are mainly done by the Rotaract Club of MCKVIE. This rotary club helps you in many way from growing your communication skills to growing your leadership skills. The admission process is quite simple as they mainly give admission based on JEE and WBJEE marks. The campus area is comparatively small and some Wifi issues. You can prefer this college as it has a good college placement cell. Big companies do come and recruit the students like Byjus, TCS, Cognizant, and many more. Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of my passion for it. Electrical engineering is good to opt for as the lab are well equipped with all the machines. Also, you get industry visits to know more about your field. Each class has a maximum strength of 70 students and the faculty staff is more than 25 for each department. The teachers are well qualified and always there to help you. The college will have 3 Class tests and one-semester final exam after 6 months each.
Placement Experience
The students can start enrolling them from 3rd year for internships and few jobs too. The average package is 5LPA and goes upto 10LPA. Almost 80% of students get placed in our college. The placement cell is really good and friendly. I am planning to get a job at my college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Talking about the fee structure the MCKVIE has 4L for 4 years to complete your BTECH. After each semester we have to pay 40-42k depending on even and odd semester via DD or bank transfer. As of now, there is no such scholarship but if you are in extreme need the principal does consider the situation. The average package is from 4L-10L from various MNC’s.
Campus Life
The annual fest “UTOPIA “ is always held in January and the tech fest before or after the cultural fest. Apart from this as mentioned before the rotary club organizes many events. The rooms have fans and no A.C as of now. Sports are held every year on campus. Currently, the Rotaract Club of RCMCKVIE and the Start-Up club by MCKVIE are social groups.
