My college experience

So my college, Situated in Kolaghat has a lavish green extremely huge campus, unlike other colleges, yeah we have our own pond there within the campus, huge football, basketball, cricket and badminton ground, almost all sports facilities available there. An on-campus hospital is also there. The overall infrastructure is excellent in terms of comfort and experiences. Fully wi-fi campus. State of art library and all the laboratories are well equipped with highly supportive and knowledgeable attendants and staffs. Classrooms are properly ventilated, and easy to focus on in types with projectors installed in most of them to convert them easily into smart class. The faculty is highly educated and supportive overall. Always ready to help administration, and fully flexible according to comfort bit within rules. Canteens are there both for hostellers and non-hostellers, food there is prepared taking care of hygiene and freshness. Hostels are there for girls and boys.

This course emphasises electronics and my hobby is electronics so it is fun for me to learn this, as a graduation subject it will elevate my carrier perspectives. The faculty-student ratio is properly managed there, nothing to think off. Facilities are highly qualified and know how to make slow learners, as well as fast learners, cope up with the methods so that no one is left behind, teaching method is like learning by doing and concept over thinking types. Term exams, i.e. class tests are held per month. Mid sems are held 3months after the beginning of semesters and end sem after 6 months of the beginning of the semester. If you attend the classes regularly and do assignments as directed you will easily pass and score good also.

On-campus placement is good there, not best but good, from the 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visiting are tech giants such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Atlas Copco, and many more. Almost 89% of students got placed last year. The highest package was 12 LPA by atlas copco. And the average package is 4 LPA offered to all students. After my degree I want to join the Defence Forces, I joined our college also because its background have significant contacts with the army and our present director sir is also a retired Colonel from the Indian Army. Ncc unit is raised every year there, under Tamluk division 55 BN.

The overall fees structure is moderate types, not very less not more though. Various scholarship schemes are there awarded based on merit to almost all meritorious students, half freeship scheme is also there to waive half of the semester fees of applicants meeting the criterion.

The annual fest is there named as Spandan held every year in winters, a great celebration with cultural and special night outs. The technical fest is held just before spandan, having many events that are totally entertaining and knowledgeable based on new emerging technologies. Sports event athleema takes place that's too in winters with various athletic as well as sports events, followed by inter-departmental games. There are lots of social clubs and societies to be parts of, such as drama society, robotics club and many more to be.
