Remarks

1.Good Infrastructure is very good compare to other colleges. 2.Quality Faculty with very good experience of more than 10-15years in the same domain. 3. Good Curriculum: Rigorous curriculum as well as case studies & practical exposure. Good corporate connection 4. Committees, forums, Ventures & more: IMT N has more than 25+ committees, forums & ventures. It's a student-driven campus that gives the best experience for the student managers. 5. Fees & Placements: Fees are medium compare to same league colleges, also the IMT name tag has a very much reputation in the market. The placement of IMT N is well above par compare to same league colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is one of the best you would get at IMT N. I think the IIM's would be having the same curriculum. Also, the faculty at IMT Nagpur are so experienced & knowledgeable than any other B-school.

Placements even in covid are pretty well at IMT N. Almost 80% of the batch is placed. Still, college is giving their best to place the remaining Peps. Companies arrived this year: 110+ companies (still counting) Avg. The placement package would be 7-7.3lac. Major companies: Bain & Company, Tata AIG, Reliance GI, Crisil, Deloitte, Global data, Xiaomi, DHL , HDFC, ICICI , IDFC, Volvo Eicher, Schneider, Meredith, KPMG & more

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 12 lakhs. There's a scholarship for DCP people for whom the fees will be almost 50%. Apart from that, if you perform well in any subject throughout the 1st year that you will get a scholarship for the same. You will get imple Internship opportunities. The stipend would be on avg.3000-4000, depending on the company.

Campus Life

Campus Life at IMT N is one of the best life you will get in your career. There are many committees, forums that organize intra-college fests & festivals. Also, there's national level fest M35, where different colleges around Nagpur takes part in it For reading & library purposes, you have got an LRC(learning resource center) which has more than 2000+ books plus it also has an online book collection. For sports, you can play cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton & more. The campus has its own ground for particular sports

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good. But it doesn't have any AC rooms so you will have to bear some heat in the summers. There's a mess committee that takes care of your food. Food is of medium quality with medium taste.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
