Remarks

I chose this college because i got a low score and this was the only college that accepted me. The admission process was smooth and easy. Like i said this is one of the best colleges you can choose this college without any doubt.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose marketing because i am a marketing enthusiast. This is a good amount of faculty-student ration and exams were quite good and moderate level. The size of the class to faculty is always good so that any doubt can be cleared.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 605000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are not that good when compared to other colleges. Some will get 22 LPA but others will get around 10-11. I wish i could have got a better placement. The placement cell is good enough, they make sure everyone is placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees of this college is around 12 lakhs to 13 lakhs INR and i feel the fees is manageable unless the college hikes the fees to high. I didn’t get any scholarships so i can’t really talk about it much but students should look forward to it.

Campus Life

The campus is just like any other campus nothing much but you will find facilities when compared to other sister colleges of IMT. You could socialize quite nicely with everyone and people are friendly around you.

Hostel Facilities

The room was average I got to live be with 4 people in the room. we got all the basic things that are required and i guess that is more than enough to stay. I feel we overpaid for our food and they should improve on that area.

Interview Experience

The topics for GD/Pi was mainly based on current affairs. The teachers are really friendly they will explain you everything related to it quite nicely. PI was smooth it was mainly to know you as a person.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
