My college experience

Shoolini University has a very good reputation not only in Himachal Pradesh but also in north India. It provides a variety of courses that most private institutions don't. Because of this huge variety, students can choose easily that what they have to do. Its placements too are very good. Many of the pass-outs are now working in different MNC's. The college is surrounded by lush green forests and is located in a beautiful location. There is no communication or transportation inconvenience. Hostels to provide a great facility. Although their rooms are a little small in size. The admission process is very simple and straight forward. You can directly fill the form online and get yourself registered. The online forms are available in April. And if you got more than 85% in class 12 then they offer you a scholarship. The teachers are very supportive and friendly. They take the pain and always try their best to make students learn well.

I chose Artificial Intelligence and machine learning as my course because it is very fascinating and quite interesting. It helps me to explore more about new technologies and new developments that take place. No doubt the faculty is well qualified and take the pain to make each and every student learn and mainly thinks on their own. They conduct various quizzes, workshops and many other online activities so that students remain indulge in their studies. The student ratio is optimum as teachers pay good attention to each and every student. The teaching method is very special. They make the students grab the concept and make them practise questions so that they can excel in that field. The exams are conducted regularly. They are not difficult to pass. All that is taught in class is asked in the exam and everyone clears the exams with flying colours.

There are several MNC'S that visit Shoolini University. It has a direct tie-up with IBM and TED X . College provides a number of placements with a good package. The highest package offered was 12 lacs and the average package is between 4 to 6 lack. I mainly focus on on-campus selection.

The fees structure is quite understanding as you are taking admission in the private institution but as compared to others it is quite low. Mine is about 69000 per anum. The hostel fees are also considered and not too high. You can get a scholarship if you have scored more than 85% in class 12.

Ok so far I haven't visited the college because of online classes but the campus life is great as the seniors told me. There is great connectivity to big cities like Chandigarh and Shimla. There are many food outlets. The college has provided great value to sports also.

As such there were no interviews that I have given for the admission maybe because of online studies or that ever the reason was. Yes, there was an online test that I gave which included the syllabus of class 12. It was quite easy and I cleared it without any difficulties.
