Remarks

I prefered choosing this college over other colleges as it provides more placement cells and competition that I am seeking for my college life. And I'm quite satisfied with everything I've been dealing with so far. The good aspect is that the teachers and my fellow seniors are very kind enough to guide me if I have any queries or any problems regarding the subjects or any programs. The bad aspects will be that the teachers teaching us via online classes are not able to reach out the specific things that they want to convey to the students so it gets difficult to understand what the teacher is trying to make us understand. The admission process was very easy as it was done online and I didn't have to travel such a long distance from Arunachal to Delhi to submit few forms in this coronavirus pandemic. I choose this college over others as this college provides higher competition and higher placement cells in the B.Com program.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is going smoothly even though the studies are done via an online process. All of the teachers are absolutely kind and awesome, I had no idea if I'd be able to gasp such kindness but I did for which I'm very thankful. I choose this course because I passed class 12 with commerce as my stream and I have only one dream that I have to achieve and it can be only done if I get my Bcom degree. The faculty is fine and the students attending the courses are also very smart and competitive which makes me fired up and urge to compete with them. All of the professors are highly qualified in a level that they can teach normal students and make them better. The teaching process is done online via zoom, gclasses, google meet etc. All of the teachers are very punctual about class timings and they address us at the exact time which they have to teach. Every exam was done online and it was done in the process named obe. The exam wasn't very difficult to pass thanks to my teachers who taught us well.

Placement Experience

5

The placement cells of our college are second all over Delhi in terms of the B.Com program which I'm currently completing. From the 1st semester the students are eligible for campus placements which makes us ready for future placements. I didn't visit any companies till now but I've submitted some of the forms for some internship programs in various companies. The average percentage of students getting placements is 78% annually with an average of 11 lakhs package as per company and profiles offered. The highest package provided this year was 28 lakhs. I have to complete my MBA after completing that. And maybe start a business after that or work in any highly recommended company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very good compared to the teaching and the stuff that they provide us in our classes. The scholarships are provided for every youngster and the principles want each and every youth to have them. Other than the course fee we also have to submit one more amount for the examination fee which is less than 10% of the admission fee and also very affordable. I haven't got any job or scholarship or any stipend but if I did it would make my living away from home very easy and affordable.

Campus Life

4.5

So far the college is proceeding online so I'm sure that my first year will be completed online and I won't be able to live my first year in the college. However, I've made friends online from my department who are in the same class as me. They are all kind and generous and help me in need. I've joined a few socities such as debate society, sports society and fashion society. And I can't wait to attend all of the fests that my colleges have and enjoy my college life to the fullest. I've seen the infrastructure in the photos and videos on my phone and it makes me want to go to college whenever the pandemic ends and attend it with my friends that I made online during this difficult time.

Other Applied Colleges

Sri Venketaswara, New Delhi. | B. Com program

Because I was not able to find the amount of competition in my previous college that I really wanted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
