Remarks

IMT Nagpur has the best in class infrastructure and very highly skilled teachers. The campus is highly student-driven which gives each student ample opportunities to experience the practicality of management skills and entrepreneurship allowing one to learn and apply management skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum includes subjects that imbibe in students the skills crucial for a budding manager and involves case-based study to allow students from real-life cases from every domain of management studies. There are presentations, simulation games, cases, and competitions to make learning interactive.

Course Fees: INR 642000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college placement cell floats offer internships and live projects to student managers. The interested students can appear for the process and qualify for it based on caliber. During the summer internship season, each student is eligible to secure only one internship opportunity. It may be paid or unpaid depending on the company.

Placement Experience

Every year 90+ companies arrive at IMT that offer packages ranging between 4.5- 12 LPA. There are ample opportunities for placements in every domain. The placement team also provides special sessions to prepare students for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The campus is huge lush green and serene. There is an LRC that provides ample learning resources to students. The college offers Scholarships to DCP students, meritorious students from 1sr year and merit cum means scholarship to economically weaker students.

Campus Life

The best thing about IMT Nagpur is that it never sleeps. One gets ample time for studies, games and then for extracurricular and forum and committee works. The campus is entirely student-driven i.e. there are several committees and clubs in charge of different functions on campus and responsible for conducting events.

Hostel Facilities

There are two-seater and one-seater hospitals that are well managed and maintained at good cleanliness levels. There are no time restrictions for hostels. The hostel rooms are well lit and have all the facility necessary for the students to focus on learning opportunity

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
