Remarks

This college is very good place for grooming of students and prepares them to for their future and to face the market.

Entrance Preview

I had got admission based on merit , I have secured 86.8% in commerce steam in 12th class and got a seat in the first cut-off list of the University. However few courses like English honours the students are selected based on entrance exam and merit.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is good, it cover almost all the major subjects which are also helpful in pursuing higher education such as courses like CA CS, MBA, other masters degree. However focus on research should be enhanced. the curriculum is vast and creates a base for further studies.

Internships Opportunities

I have little information on internship. But the college is open for new changes, so its quite possible that they may take up students on internship.

Placement Experience

4

The college provides great placements at the CRC- centralized placement cell of Delhi University.MNC Companies like Aegis, Genpact visited the campus and selected many students and also provided career counselling to them which was of great help. The students were very enthusiastic and many had accepted this opportunity.

College Events

4.5

MAC has different departments, and they have different fests which were very much innovative and enjoyable. Students were the organizer for the fest and they arranged the sponsors for these fests. Fest had technical events like paper presentation, techno games competition, cultural events like folk dances and folk music singing competition. the fest are organized on inter college level and open for other college students to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is simple and on yearly mode, its not at all expensive ad ranges between 5000 to 15000 per annum depending on the courses. Its affordable for all. The facilities provided are very good, specially the Air conditioned class rooms and Labs, The students with economically weaker background get a fee waiver from the principal.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given to the students based on merit, the departmental toppers are given a good cash reward of Rs 30,000/- , 20000 and 10000 to the first second and third rankers.

Campus Life

4

talking about the gender ratio, girls are comparatively more than the boys. Talking of the diversity, people from poor as well as middle class Families come to this college, elite class is also there. Talking of the extracurricular activities there is NCC (National Cadet corps) training for the students. Infrastructure for playing all sort of sports is present. the computer lab and science labs are well equipped with latest technologies. Events like Impromptu, Debates, Groups Discussion, Presentations are conducted from time to time giving good exposure to students to enhance their skills.Various educational and adventurous trips are also organised for students that too at affordable cost.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college is not having hostel facility as of now, but may have it in the near future, the food provided in the canteen is good and hygienic and cheap. The options available on the menu are good. Around the college there are few eating joints that make a good hub for the students to hang out.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is good since Alumni meet are conducted every year giving a chance to alumni to strengthen their bond with each others and with teachers.

Exam Structure

There were two exams held during the year. one was internals and another was external examinations. Adequate gaps were given between exams which gave enough time to students to prepare. The marks of the internal and external exams are aggregated to decide on the final score per se. The marks of attendance was also given weightage.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty in MAC is world class and very knowledgeable, they are student friendly and give personal attention to every student. They are experts in their particular courses, and beyond curriculum they also guide the students about their life and career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
