Remarks
MCKVIE has multiple goods as well as bad aspect. The professor is experienced and helpful. The lab facilities are up to the mark even many companies visit during campusing. The negative aspect is its small playground. The admission process consists of 2 way first is through the WBJEE exam cum counselling and the latter is direct admission. The college had good placement, as well as the fess, is less so I opted for MCKVIE. I referred to Quora while seeing the ranking and status of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty member is well experienced as well as friendly. The professor is an expert in their subject and the assistant professor is even good and helpful. They tried their best to continue learning even at the covid time. Each subject consists of almost 3 professors per 65 students.
Internships Opportunities
Tech startup provides multiple internships which are informed by training and placement cell from time to time. Even the Startup Club looks after internship opportunity. TCS also comes up with internship from time to time. For opportunity, it is to be applied and then an exam and interview is conducted. Then merit list of the qualified student is given.
Placement Experience
7-semester students are eligible for campusing. There are many companies like TCs, Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, Byjus etc visit the college for placement. The student even applies for off campusing. Almost 90% of students get placed. I opt for sitting on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The basic fee structure is divided into 2 odd semesters 40,000 and even semester 41,000 there is a fee waiver for economically backward, as well as merit scholarship, is provided. The hostel facility cost 36,000 as fees in which food is not included. There is an internship option available for students during their college years.
Campus Life
The annual fest is known as utopia and tech fest is called Pragati it is organised in the month of December/January after even sem exam. The library is fully equipped with a syllabus as well as other books which include magazine and novels. There is a basketball court in college each year a sports competition is organised in the month of Jan/February. There is one social group called Rotaract club of MCKVIE and one entrepreneur group called StartupClub by MCKVIE they take care of events organised annually.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good but the food facility is average. The maintenance is up to the point as well as security is good. Overall it's a good option to choose for accommodation. The best thing is the hostel is close to the campus.
