Remarks

Bharati College is a great college for Commerce. Here teachers are understanding and cooperative. One thing I didn't like about this college is it's infrastructure. Infrastructure needs to be improved Secondly placements are not up to the mark. Reason why i had opted for this college was that I had a word with one of my senior she told me about the crowd and staff that is actually nice. Principal maam is approachable. In case of any problem we can contact Head of our department they try to solve our query ASAP. They take into consideration everyone's views and ideas. Seniors are also cooperative everytime they try to help and guide juniors. When DU form(Both for entrance and merit) was released on 20th June 2020 we had to fill that form by 31st August 2020.After that admission process was stared then you have to check DU Portal on regular intervals to match your percentage with the cut off. If your percentage matches with the cut off then you can apply for that College.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I had opted for Bcom Hons because from class 11th I was interested in Accountancy and Mathematics. So I decided to opt for the course in which maximum weigtage is of these two subjects. After doing alot of research I got to know about this course Bcom Hons which most of the students opt who are having commerce as their background. So I decided to opt for thi course. Faculty: Student Ratio is 2000:53. Qualification of the faculty is satisfactory teaching method is satisfactory not that Good. There are in total 6 semesters. Exams are conducted after 6 months. Syllabus is less and easy to cover and questions are asked from the syllabus itself. All you need is to prepare the syllabus thoroughly. It is Really easy to score good marks in exams. Exams will be six times in the entire course.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship opportunities are available for all years students. Most of the internships are unpaid or stipend is Performence Based. Some companies like Stand We Speak, MedicFibers etc . Offer internship opportunities in Public Relation, Consumer Services, Content Writing etc. There stipend varies from 5k to 12k. Tasks were given in these internships. On successful completion of tasks they will provide you certificate and LOR.

Placement Experience

3

Placement Cell of our College i.e OPUS is not that active. Good Companies rarely come for internships as well as for Job Opportunities. There is an annual internship and job fair organised but still average companies come. Students become eligible for campus placements from second and third year of College. Companies that visited in the last two to three months are Stand We Speak, Mindforce Research, Orbis etc. Offers were mainly in the field of Content Writing, Primary Research Associate etc. Highest Package was of 15.15 Lakh. Average Package lies between 3 to 5 lakh. Approximately 50% students get placed and the rest 50% opt for higher studies. My plans after getting the degree is to do MBA in Finance.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure of Delhi University is Feasible. Fees of my entire course is 31,395. We have to pay this amount in three installments of 10,465 each. If you are unable to pay then you can talk to the concerned person of the admission department they will give you concession. Various scholarship were available from DU. Yes I had opted for many scholarships they are provided by DU. Students who are from lower income family are given concession from fees. I had applied for the Internship but that was unpaid. I didn't apply for job as of now because I'm in First Year.

Campus Life

4.5

ABHIVYAKTI is well known annual cultural festival organized by the elected members of the student council along with the help and support of the governing body and student volunteers. Tech Fest is not organised in our college Because it's for science students and we are not having science courses in our college. College has a large and well equipped computerzized library with the latest text books, reference books and journals. Classrooms are well maintained. But due to this pandemic Classes are conducted in online mode i.e on Google Meet. There are many extra curriculum actives in our college of singing, dance, drama. Multiple sports are there like Football, Cricket, Tennis etc. Many competitions are organised in our college that helps to boost up our confidence and personality.

Other Applied Colleges

Jesus and Mary College | Eco Hons

I didn't get admission in this college because cut off was high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
