Remarks

The college comes under Delhi University which was the main reason to opt for the college. In the start, we filled the form of Delhi University which was an affordable price and the next we waited for a cut of. After a cut of the list was published on the website I checked it but I got admission in the 5th cut of and I paid fees to the college and confirmation mail was sent by them. The reason for preferring college was it has good faculty building is good it was near to my residence.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curicullum is good. Faculty members are all amazing. Staff always work for the betterment of students and the college itself. Student ratio- 2:1. All faculty member is well qualified with all the specific degrees required to teach. The teaching method opted is online currently due to the Covid pandemic but still, all the topics are thoroughly taught in online classes. Regular assignments classes are taking place. Term exams were easy but quite lengthy maybe it gave it for 1st time.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from 4 the semester. The placements provided by our college is very good. Almost 70% of students are placed from our college and good companies come to recruit from our college. The average package offered by our college is around 3-4 Lacs. Amazon, Bosch, Tata and HCL are top recruiting companies for our course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are to be submitted yearly and the cost of the study B.Com program is around 30,000. I did not get any scholarships on the campus as a percentage was not as good to get any scholarships and I didn't require any financial assistance because I was from the general category.

Campus Life

The annual fest is being conducted nd recently it took place in the month of April 2021 (Srijan). It was held in a descent way online and the link was shared with all students. College has a vast library area and all books of all courses are available too. The classroom has good amenities. Fans light good benches. The college has the big ground of basketball and sports event are also being held from time to time. There are many clubs and socities who students take part.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
