Remarks

On a whole it was really an awesome memorable 4 years journey which ended with huge opportunities.

Entrance Preview

I had Appeared for MH CET scored (109/200) but got admission based on my HSC marks PCM (89 %) (2005).

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Structure is really good but lacks practicals and research initiative.College should take Initiative to get out of the theory based approach and get more and more practical. As course content is based on Mumbai University which is more theory based then Practical.

Internships Opportunities

No, College does not provide internship opportunity which is very discouraging college do encourage for the same.

Placement Experience

4

Excellent Placements and Job Opportunities provided and ensures that at least a student has one offer letter before completion of Final year We had likes of Infosys,Patni,L&T infotech, Syntel Etc Offer was around 2.50--3.5 lakhs /annum as on May-2009. We had around 60-70% of students placed before completion of third year.

College Events

3

All events are organized very well with great enthusiasm and also encouraged to participate in the Events. Events are organised both at inter college and Intra College level. Encouragement is given to provide innovative ideas for organizing events. Appropriate funds are provided by college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure as on 2008-09 was bit on high side as compared to other college but it is been justified for the qualify infrastructure, placements and faculty. It was around Rs:-80,000 /Year for engineering branch (2008-09) As College was using license version of all software's and had all kind of hardware and software required with latest upgrades which was justified. College was also providing with study material for all subjects.

Fees and Financial Aid

No , I am not aware of any loan or scholarship facility been available for the courses. I had applied for loan from State Bank of India but college had not provision for the same.

Campus Life

5

Campus life was really a fun with evenly match gender ratio ,great diversity. We had our dedicated area for sports along with various inter College and Intra College events being organized. We had all of the events ,competitions such as Debates various advance technology workshops.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is available for students who are based Outside of Mumbai.I am not sure much about the Hostel facility as we used to commute daily but hostel was placed at near vicinity of the College. As far as college canteen was concerned it had all types of food available with affordable prices.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes , We are always being contacted for Alumni meet and also encouraged for sharing experience both professional and personal.

Exam Structure

Exams and Labs were frequent but Labs we more kind of formality as describe in syllabus with very less emphasis on learning on trying out new things. Exams were conducted on frequent basis to monitor the performance of the students. Mock Viva's were conducted to enhance knowledge of the students.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of college is excellent and most of them have lectures are exam centric faculty overall has good industry experience , also they provide us with notes to prepare for exams, We always see cent percent attendance by the students they cover entire syllabus as specified by Mumbai university they are always easily reachable.

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.
