This college is very reputed all over India. This college is functioning for 141 years. I opted for this college since it offers the best facilities. It also provides many other programs to improve our abilities. The admission process is very simple.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BCom since I have good knowledge of the subjects. Many of the lecturers are PhD holders and are fluent in teaching. There is also BCom(Industry integrated) and BCom( with ACCA). I year BCom has 8 batches where each batch has 90 students. Since it is an autonomous college, the semester exams are conducted in the college itself. They often conduct tests.
Internships Opportunities
Students enroll for internships in companies like Tata Consultancy Services Pvt. ltd. The concerned officials take classes to the students after college hours and test their knowledge about the company and the working skills
Placement Experience
Students are selected for many reputed companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, etc. Many companies recruit candidates from the college based on their skills and abilities to perform the assigned duties
Fees and Financial Aid
Everyone can afford to study in college. You may feel that the fees are high, you are given concession based on previous performance though. You can study in college even if you are poor. Scholarship facilities are also available in the college.
Campus Life
St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangaluru has been awarded the 3rd cleanest campus in India and the 1st cleanest in Karnataka in 2019. The cultural fest will be conducted department-wise in the college. There is a very big library with thousands of books. You can always borrow the books for which you'll have to buy cards for 20 RS. and keep them for a month and later return them. Classrooms have good quality benches and desks and fans. There is many sports equipment. You're always encouraged to participate in sports. Many of the students start and own online shopping platforms.
Hostel Facilities
A hostel facility is also available in the institution. Two students stay together in one room. Good quality and delicious food are also served in the hostel. The food consists of non-veg as well as veg. You just need to fill an application for the hostel admission. You'll feel like staying at home.
