Remarks
I chose this college because my cousin's brother also did his engineering from HMR. He referred me to this college so after completing my 10+2 I got the opportunity to join this college. My marks were good so I didn't struggle much. The admission process was also very easy, either you crack the entrance test or have any type of quota. The teacher and atmosphere of the college are very eco-friendly. They use advanced technology for their workshops. I seriously advise students to go to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very much updated. They have update all the courses and topics in their syllabus. We have 8 semesters in 4 years. Apart from this, we have projects and assignments too to get internal marks from the college we need to submit the assignments and projects. Faculty members are very much educated and talented.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, my college provides internships also in the 7 and 8th semesters. Students can choose companies like HCL, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, and many more. as per their course and likes. Students are provided a little amount as a stipend in that training period. If the companies like your work they can directly place you in their companies.
Placement Experience
The best thing about HMR was the placements. most of the MNC was the recruiter of my colleges such as Accenture, Amazon, aricent, cognizant, Byjus, airbus, PWC, Infosys, Tata, Uber, Genpact and many more. The placement percentage of my college is 97%. the maximum salary package given to a student is 8lakh per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is a little bit expensive but being an engineering college, anyone can afford it. my yearly fees were 118200 PA. These yearly fees include my tuition fees, university, and a refundable security deposit. If you availing a transport service there are different fees. Yes, students can take the scholarship which is mainly for minorities and handicap students.
Campus Life
My campus was very beautiful and green the ambiance was eco-friendly. Every year we had an annual fest called Mahotsav and a tech-fest held. We had a huge library on the college campus also. Also, we had many types of games such as badminton, cricket, gymnasium and table tennis. Also, students can join many types of social groups to help the needy and poor students.
Interview Experience
I directly got admission to the college because there is a 10% quota for SC students. But yes I heard from my friends that the entrance test was also there which includes tests, GD and if crack the interview then there is an interview round also. Students have to fill the online entrance test.
