Should provide internships

BITS VIZAG is a reputed educational institution. The reason behind preferring this college over other colleges was the environment, peace and the greenery view behind the college and free from noise pollution as it was away from the city area. The admission process was basically based on the EAMCET rank and I got my admission according to it in June 2015 There are many experienced professors and lab technicians which help us and guide us in every possible way. The college not only focuses on the studies but also on various cultural activities. BITS VIZAG has many separate labs and a big canteen beside the college building. There are hostels for students who come from far places, different districts. There is a huge playground area for outdoor sports and games such as Cricket, Volleyball, Throwball, Tennis, Basketball, etc, and also a room for indoor games like Chess, table tennis, carrom, etc.

The reason behind choosing this course was to understand and get the knowledge on how and electronic objects work. Many of us know about various kinds of electronic things but very few know about the components assembled in them. Yes, it's one of a tough course but it's interesting learning and knowing many things. Faculty of this Department are very experienced and they guide us in every possible way. The Lab technicians also help us in various lab works Their teaching method is good. After every 5-6 months there was a term exam and it was a bit difficult for passing the exam though the questions were from the previous years it was a little difficult to pass.

During the 7th and 8th Semesters, students were eligible for campus placements. There were many companies in which most of them were of 2nd or 3rd party kind., 40-50% of the students used to get placed in various companies. The highest package was 10L from Byjus's learning app which was to be offered to only 1 student and the lowest package was 1L from many companies. After getting the degree, my plan is to work hard and try for any government job.

The fee structure included the tuition fees, bus fee and this was to be paid for every year. There were college campus selections in our college but the companies were of 2nd or 3rd party kind off. And I got selected in Foxconn Company which was of 1.3L package. So basically the campus jobs were not so good.

Honestly in my complete 4 years, only once we celebrated the annual fest and it was a 2-day fest. Other than annual fests we had other celebrations such as Women's day and during the month of December every year, they conducted a 3-day international conference on subjects like mathematics science. It also included cultural activities. But within the department, we had many seminars such as PCB designing, seminars on GST, live projects, etc. We also visited the INS DEGA and Weather Radar.
