Remarks
The best option available for me at that time. I give VITEEE, go for counselling and get the seat. If you can't get the desired branch, you can get your desired branch by moving onto the next category where you have to pay more.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science seemed interesting to me. Faculties are ok. Some of them are fantastic and some are an absolute nightmare. Faculties are qualified enough. Student to teacher ratio is around 65:1. Exams are ok so far. Easy to pass if you listen in class.
Internships Opportunities
I'm not sure about the details but they have a placement cell for this purpose. Projects are mostly done for the credits. If you don't copy from the internet, you can learn way more than what you were taught in class.
Placement Experience
7th semester, the numbers they show in college is good. Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Cisco, etc also came to our college for placement. The highest package was around 45 LPA about placement figures, I am not sure.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is ok for category 1. But it is on the costlier side if you move up the category. The scholarship was provided to only those who were in the top 1000 of VITEEE when I was admitted. Placement numbers seem good so far. Hopefully, it gets even better in 2023.
Campus Life
Vibrance and technoVIT are the main events. Vibrance is our cultural fest and technoVIT is our tech fest. Both of them felt underwhelming to me. Books are available in the library. But they go out of stock before exams.
Hostel Facilities
The room size is good. Facilities are okay. Meals taste good in the beginning then you realize how bad it is. The hostel is affordable since it majorly depends on what type of room you choose and what type of mess you select.
