Remarks

Good brand name, affordable, good placement record and well known group of alumni. The list green campus with all facilities including library, sports ground. Students are also allowed to invest in the venture and a student driven campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was of 2 yrs, PGDM marketing. Around 305 students batch was there. There is a trimester pattern with three terms per year. Out of 100 marks, 40 marks of end term is there. Other marks are allocated from individual assignment and group assignments.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Placement Experience

After fourth trimester students start applying for campus placement, For this year till now 90% students are placed and companies are still coming. In the Covid situation the placement process in other colleges have hampered but IMT Nagpur still provides placement opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is according to term wise. With 1.9 L installment. Fee includes the hostel cost also along with the tuition fees. No fee hike recently. Education loan is easily available in any bank. There are many placement opportunities, During 2020 , got an internship opportunity at reliance retail. Also the college has good alumni connect.

Campus Life

Good campus life, too many events to keep the students fresh. A perfect balance of academics and events. There are many clubs and forums where students can participate according to their interests. Students can also invest in the ventures.

Hostel Facilities

Good hostel facilities, 2 students in a room, 24 hours Water facilities and guards are present at the hostel gates. Total 4 hostel building, 2 for boys and 2 for girls. 4 times meals is served, canteen facilities are also present.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
