Remarks
There isn't any negative remark about my college. There are many positive things such as Dyal singh college takes it's 70% electricity from solar panels and it's the most green college in Delhi University with a huge floral garden just to protect flora.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is filled with theory based learning as well as practical knowledge. There are 4 exams per semester which builds a better base for next semester. There are theory subjects like business law and corporate governance and there are practical subjects like income tax and GST.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of Dyal singh college works very hard to bring companies for internships as well as placements to our college. For internships stipends vary between 2k and can go as far as 15k.I have personally done 2 paid internships and it was a very helpful experience for me.
College Events
The commerce society in my college organises their annual fest named Communique and there takes place a union fest called Priyadarshini. Both the events are well known in the university and students from different college come and participate in it. There are competitions and singing and dance performances altogether.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is very feasible. For my course it's just 13000 per annum. And the fee structure doesn't go beyond 15000 for any students which is very feasible for any students. There is an examination fees which depends upon the course of the student. My examination fees is just 610/-
Fees and Financial Aid
My college comes under Delhi University and Delhi University provides scholarships if any to students. If there is a talented student with prodigal mind then college provides full scholarship to the students along with his/her stay expenses.
Campus Life
My college has a big playground with volleyball court, basketball court a cricket ground as well as a football ground. There are chemistry labs, 5 computer labs which provide students a hands on experience for the real world.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for hostel because i live just an hour distance from college.My college doesn't provide any hostel facility but there are numerous flats and PGs where students can live near to college and focus on studies.
Alumni/Alumna
Thr alumni of my college is working in big companies like EY, Genpact and many more. The alumni is very welcoming and we can be in touch with them whenever we want. They are very helpful in any problems relating to college.
Admission
To get admission in Dyal singh college, a students has to come under the eligibility criteria according to his/her desired course. I wanted bcom hons and for that I had to have at least 93.5% in my 12th standard with subjects including accountancy, business studies, english, economics along with Mathematics.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is highly qualified with teachers having their PHDs in their respective fields. The faculty is a mixture of experienced old professors as well as fresh young minds with excellent teaching and mentoring skills.
