The thing that this is a government college itself made me choose this. And morever campus hiring is very good in this college. If you are good at academics you can be sure to be get hired by a good company.

The ratio is good.Boys:Girls is almost 50:50. There were mixture of faculties. Like some were very good and some were average. The teaching technique varies.Each of the faculty members have a higher degree in their respective subjects. Each year there there will be two semestera conducted and before each semester there will be an internal exam. Cracking the semesters is not that difficult. With a well understanding on the topic you can easily secure good marks in your exam.

After the end of second year, companies start coming for campus selection. Many good companies come for selection as for my batch, like TCS, Deloitte, CAPGEMINI, Infosys, SAP, etc. Highest package can be 35k-45k. And lowest can be 10 k. Based on the companies you have been selected for.60 percentage of students get placed.

The social life is pretty good. For who want to explore more in the other fields, there are pretty much good Opurtinities. There are clubs where students can join in the things they are interested in. There are also fests held every year. If you are in for the It sector,Tech fest are there to boost you up.

Our campus is very big.Its well known for its old library, Kanika library. It's literally very big.There is a large play ground in the middle. Surrounding which all the departments are made. Every part of our university is painted in Red, so that's why it's called the Red Empire.

Yes, I have opted for the hostel.There are separate hostel for girls and boys.Four hostel for boys and other Four for girls.The infrastructure of each hostel is quite different,because In some hostels they keep 3 persons in a room while other can be 6 in a room. So it can varry hostelwise.Mine is a three floor hostel, with 6 person sharing one room. The room is quite big to accommodate six persons. There you will be provided one bed, one cupboard, one table and a chair each. The washrooms are quite clean on some days, but some days it can be awful can't give assurance in that. Meal quality is average. They will give you 3 meals a day, 20 rupees for each meal.Breakfast lunch and dinner. You have to adjust with the food, obviously you won't get food same as your home anywhere else.Somedays you might find issues, but overall it's OK.There is also a canteen available inside the hostel.Registration for hostel is simple. During the admission process itself they will ask whether you want to opt for hostel. If yes then they will allot a hostel and let you know.
