Overall it is a very good college as it helped me to give a direction and shape to my career growth.

Course curriculum was up to date and standards of materials were top class as per the current academic structures and norms. Though it is an autonomous institute affiliated by AICTE, but they strictly follow the up to date course in terms of management curriculum

Placements were good during our days and most of the banks, PSUs and few big FMCG companies were hiring from our college those days. I heard trend is still going on thought the college is losing its old charm

In IMIS we use to celebrate all major festivals which we normally celebrate in Imdia. Stating with Frehers day and nightHoli, Mark ecstasy the marketing event from top B schools in India, Independence daySwaraswati Pooja, Sankranti, Umang the grameen mela, etc

Feasible fee structure. Few may have to go for education loan. College also provide help in terms of getting edu loan from reputed PSU banks. Gender ratio were around 70:30 M:F. IMIS use to organize workshops on cultural societies or Student diversity and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. Gender equality is one of the key mantra of this college

Hostel facility was good. Inhouse hostel facility were there. Food were decent. Alumni call and network committee works closely with old students to keep the connect. They regularly visit major cities in India and organize alumni meet almost every year

I wanted to opt MBA from a reputed B school and IMIS was one of them. This was one of the famous and best B schools in Eastern part of India and had ranking in Economic Times and other reputed ranking bodies in India.Steps for admission were :1. Written Examination 2. Personal interview

We had around 20 odd faculty members from decent quality and education back grounds. Few of them were excellent in terms of their style of teaching and guiding students. Most of them were specialized in the respective subjects for which they were appointed. Lecturers had relevant industry experience as well
