Remarks

As a student from IMT I can only tell you how great experience it was for me. The college culture is really welcoming and completely student based. One will have a lot of things to do beside studying. Some of the courses in the curriculum are very good, in fact they are unique to some extent. All in all it is a really nice institute and one can think about investing in one's future by joining IMT.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good faculty and great campus. 2:1 boys: girls. Nice teaching methods. Flipped classroom pattern. Trimester system . Exams happen in 3 sets, every trimester. Final exam, Mid terms and AOLs along with class evaluation.

Course Fees: INR 1250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies come in with paid internship opportunities providing good roles that can actually help the students learn about the corporate culture and develop new capabilities. Sales is a dominant profile in marketing.

Placement Experience

Final Placement usually starts at the end of 4th semester. Average package goes up to 750,000 lakh per annum. Huge companies have been coming in every year, with the list getting better and better every passing year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was reduced due to COVID. The management returned the money they would've charged for accommodation etc. SIP opportunities and FP opportunities are quite good. They are improving every year. I got into Outlook Magazine for my SIP and Bain & Co. for my FP.

Campus Life

Milestone 35 is the annual intercollegiate fest. The campus is completely student driven and has many forums and clubs and committees that organize various events throughout the year. Classrooms are equipped with modern tools and there is a good sporting facility.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is compulsory since it is an on campus course. The facilities are really nice and are well maintained. Regular cleaning takes place and it was really well adapted for COVID as well. Comfortable stay as much as you can expect in a B-school.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Interview Experience

4.5

Only PI and CAT. We didn't have GD or any other round at our time. I prepared myself by going through my CV and finding out about the Current affairs. One should be well prepared with their CV as they scrutinized my CV in the interview. Whatever was mentioned in it was questioned thoroughly.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
