Remarks
There are a lot of positives in our college but a few negatives as well, the administration could definitely improve, it takes almost forever to process a request. Another thing which all the colleges of the university should improve upon is establishing a proper channel of information to the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is apt and comprehensive.It completely includes all the topics effectively and concisely. There are almost 12 books per semester with novels of various authors and genres. The books range from classics to modern novels and are really interesting and fun to read.
Placement Experience
The placement rate of our college is more than 70% which is more than average. There is a placement cell as well which keeps the students updated with the latest available job opportunities and internships.
College Events
There are many events celebrated at our college like dance fests, music fests, debating, theatre, sports to name a few. There are dedicated societies to manage these events and the students participate in these events enthusiastically.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Hence, the university is government funded, the fees is very nominal, it is very feasible and affordable. This is a great advantage for the people and families come from a financially weaker background.
Fees and Financial Aid
I havent availed of any loan or scholarship facility. I am not even aware if any financial facilities are provided by the college or the university in any which way. But what I feel is that there should be some facility of this sort.
Campus Life
The extracurricular are immaculate, huge grounds, amphitheater, well equipped labs, good furniture in the classes, and the college is very certain about the preparations of the inter college competitions which happen yearly.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is definitely a great help for the students as they can learn from the already passed out students not only on topics related to college but even after that. Things like career and sports are the most favoured to seek help on.
Admission
The merit list comes out, we visit the college and present all the relevant documents and after verification, the college grants us the admission. The college is very strict in verifying the documentation which includes Character certificate, 10th mark sheet,12th mark sheets.
Faculty
The faculty is no doubt one of the best in the university. The teachers here are extremely talented and experienced which adds to the prestige of the faculty at our college. The teachers are understanding and dynamic which helps the students grasp better.
