Rohit Suryawanshi's Review On MIT Academy Of Engineering - [MITAOE], Pune

I selected this college due to its placements. MIT is an autonomous institute affiliated to savitribai Phule Pune University and the main thing is it has overall two different placements. One comes through the college itself. And the other comes through MITWPU which is separate University but both are connected. And MIT is the brand and almost from allover the india the companies comes here for better selection of students.

I wanted to take Computer Department from joining 12th itself. But the Computer Department in MIT pune is one the best Department and can compete to anyone all over means rather placements or infrastructure. As MIT is the autonomous institute the paper is set by the college faculty itself and the level of the exam is quite tough and relative to the competitive world. Our Department itself has faculty:student ratio of almost 1:18.The teachers are highly qualified and has the well teaching experience of almost 5-6 years. No teacher has experience less than 5 years in our campus.and I would review there teaching 9.5/10.Talking about the schedule of exams, it is scheduled well on time every term. But the faculty sets the paper in a manner that topper struggles to get best marks and average Student does not fail.

Right now I opted for student ambassador at branded company INTERNSHALA and the stiphend is performance based. Apart from this last year I opted for hari infotech assistant teacher Internship for 3 months and stiphend was 3000.

In MIT; students are eligible for placements after 6th semester.many companies visit MIT every year and last year the highest package offered to one the student was 8.25 lakh per annum by deloite company. Many other companies like IBM, Accenture,HCL,amdocs,infosys, tata and many other. Main important thing last month itself ; our totally 107 students got placed in deloite in a single day. And the average package is 6-7 lakh per annum.on an average every year almost 70% students geta placed.Talking about my plans, I wish to complete my Mtech and then go for placements. so after getting btech degree, i would like take my masters and move on.

Campus life is nice. Our campus conducts annual fest called as NAKSHATRA and normally it is conducted every year in the month of January. It consists of 8 days comprising of various technical and non-technical events followed by sports week. The teams are formed depending on department and after sports week 1 week later results are declared on the annual gathering day which lasts for 2 nights. The aura encompasses of lights and festives. We Mitians enjoy these days just like the festival. Various Singers, dancers, artists, painters showcase their talents and gets a chance to win overwhelming rewards. The sports winner department every year is provided with a shield which is matter of prestige to every mitian.Talking about the clubs, there are many more clubs like maths club, photography club, menace club, dance club, music club, hackathon club,technical club, non technical club, robotics club and many more. This clubs work all over year and get experience. And ploggers club is newly emerged and got faim in less span of time.

I am from general category student. And I availed the TFWS scholarship by which my entire tution fees is paid by government and only the development fees is ro be paid by me. And also students can fill for EBC scholarship by which their fees becomes half and other is filled by government itself.

Infrastructure is well-lit. It has the sports ground but lacks in some aspects like it doesn't has badminton court and cricket court. But one can play other games like khokho, kabaddi and much more. Library facility is nice. You can get maximum of 5 books at a time for a interval of 8 days and after wards you must renew that period if you want that for more amount of time.and also there is a reading room beside it where you can access to innumerable volumes of books and magazines. Also the wifi is spread allover campus. But frankly speaking the wifi is not up to the mark. It comes into the range only in particular area. Overall its infrastructure is one of the best of pune institutes.

The college provides with the hostel facility and the registration process is simple. Just pay the fess at the counter and you will get the the seat. It doesn't consists of meal. We need to pay extra for that. But various activities are being held by the hostel management like sports and freshers party and much more. The academic sports and freshers party is different from hostellites. Hostel has well-lit infrastructure and wifi facility is spread all over hostel and it ranges all over campus.also it has table-tennis area only for hostellites.in short the college hostel worth for a penny and its fees is well justified.
