Remarks
Disciplined acadameics, Supportive Faculty and the Training & Placement cell at the institute arranges all the activities related to campus placements for students. To assist them, the cells organise pre-placement programs such as aptitude tests, mock interviews, group discussions and presentations.The process of admission was also very smooth and the staff was really very cooperative. I had taken admission on 3rd July 2018.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has very disciplined academics and 75% attendence is compulsory excluding medical reasons. Faculties are experienced, supportive and understanding. Almost all faculties are Phd holders and others are preparing for it. College conducts unit tests and prelims for preparations of university exams.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Near about 150 companies come every year. Average package is 3.5 LPA and highest package till date is 32 LPA. 85-90% of students get placed after the degree program.
College Events
The college arranges annual fest named "Swartarang" in January. National level event arranged by first-year engineering students named "Spectrum". And other years arranges an event named " Anantya". College library has reference books for every subject and course. Also, there are some novels and autobiographies to read. Every classroom has a projector screen. Every department has it's own student organisation. Like I am from the computer department so we have Computer Engineering Student Association(CESA) associated with ACM student chapter. Also, there are CSI and IET chapters.
Campus Life
Wifi facility is available. College library has all the reference books related to all the courses. Also there are other books like autobiographies and novels. All the software labs are well maintained with LAN connection to each PC.
Hostel Facilities
I had opted for a private hostel exactly at the backside of a college campus. The provided facilities were a bed, cupboard, gas geyser, water filter. The rent was 45000 per year. There are some tiffin suppliers as per our requirements of time and quantity.
