Remarks

The good aspects are a very good campus full of greenery and everything in this college is well maintained. The admission through JEE Main and sliet set exam. In this college, everything is maintained rather than other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I do something new in mechanical. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30. PhD scholor and very well teaching way. On time exam will be held during corona some exam was delay otherwise always.

Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mahindra pays a stipend to some students who are eligible for Mahindra exams. There is no project now but after some time Mahindra gives a project on which selected students work. And also after one Tata gives an opportunity.

Placement Experience

3rd year, company visiting our campus are Capgemini, Tata consultancy services and Godrej Nestle Mahindra Infosys and many others companies. The highest package is placement is not more than 16 LPA. About 70% of students get placed. After my degree, I want to do civil services.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my course are 60000 per annum. The scholarship is available for poor class family students.

Campus Life

Techfest and Madhuram are two annual fests which are organised in March and November. In this college, many sports facilities are available like Cricket, Football, Volleyball and also some indoor game like Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carrom.

Hostel Facilities

Everything is available in the hostel for students which is essential for a student like a fan water cooler geyser. Food is good but not like home. HES registration is required for hostle and there is a PG which is for PhD scholar.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Interview Experience

Admission through jee mains entrance exam and also through sant LONGOWAL Institute of Engineering and Technology University set exam. There is no interview for JEE Main student but for set exam student.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
