Remarks

More than 60% of students got placed. Companies like KMPG, PwC, Deloitte are the regular recruiters. Infrastructure is one of the best on the whole south campus, as well as the DU. College is ranked in the top 10 in Teachers highly qualified. Good dealing with students. Labs well equipped. Hotspot for fests. Admission process simple, registered on the portal, chose college, paid fees, no first come first serve.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being from a commerce background, we should get more knowledge about investment markets. Money is the pivot around which the economy revolves, so its study is important. The course is related to daily life. Faculty is good, teaching through online meeting classes. Around 60 students in each section, maximum 2 teachers per subject. But the teachers need to be regular. I had my sem exams in March, results aren't yet announced.

Internships Opportunities

Internships provided to students securing 6 CGPA. Companies like Decathlon, KMPG, ZS provide internships. Profiles like Business Development, Business Analyst, Content Writing, Public Relations are mainly offered.

Placement Experience

An average of more than 60% of students gets placed each year. As high as 9 lakh pa. Infosys, TCS, EY, KMPG are top recruiting companies. Top roles are audit analysts and content writers, accountants, HR officials.

Fees and Financial Aid

I being a fresher got many good offers. Fees are 7855, a nominal amount that anyone can easily pay. Financial Assistance is provided to many students below income 1lac per annum. Internships provided to students securing 6 CGPA. Companies like goIbibo, Irctc, provide internships.

Campus Life

Fests like Nukkad Natak, Sports Fests, Cultural fests are conducted regularly. College is a hub of fests. I took admission in pandemic time not got any chance to physically attend any event, but they look good. The library is two-floored and huge. Sports activities are highly encouraged. Many societies such as dance society, commercial, financial, investment, photography and of other fields are training students for a better tomorrow.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
