IMT Nagpur- A model for corporate experience

I chose this course because our college has one of the finest marketing faculties in the country and it will help build my marketing career and that was the reason why I chose this career. The faculty-student is appropriate and for an ideal classroom experience. The faculties are all highly qualified with years of hands on experience with practical teaching methods applicable in corporates.

Companies like CRISIL , Jio Labs come and many others come for internship. The project are of sales, marketing , digital marketing, financial analysis, research, consulting, credit risk analysis, financial modelling.

Post 4th semester students become eligible for placements and they have to get at least 5 CGPA for being qualified for the same. Highest package offered was of 18 lakhs per annum and average package is of 7.72 lakhs per annum. 100% students getting placement from campus.

There has been no fees hike due to coronavirus pandemic. For the academically bright student there is a provision for waiver of 50% fees as a well. At the end of first year you also receive scholarship if you perform well in your academics.

The campus life is best with it buzzing with student events and activities. There are many events and activities, among which Concord is the National Management Olympiad, Milestone events and every festival celebrated by very own Ovia the cultural committee. The campus is hub for sports activities with facilities for every major sports like cricket, football , lawn tennis, volleyball and others.

The hostels are equipped with 24 hrs. availability of hot and cold water, spotless clean with a dedicated cleaning staff which cleans washrooms and corridors twice daily. The meal provided in mess is of great variety and of good quality. The menu is changed every month and feedback of students is taken seriously. Apart from mess we also have food court , FNF and Prayantna which adds on the variety.

The questions asked during personal interview was about myself, why I want to do MBA , Why IMT, and questions related to academics and previous work experience. The interview process is generally a stress round. There is also a group task round in which student managers need to collectively solve a problem and in which both individual and group participation is seen.
