Remarks

Though I have only attended online classes due to the pandemic but college has provided the best teachers for all the subjects with regular classes and two days off. The process was very easy n smooth I would prefer this college because the teachers are experienced and friendly You can take the help of youtube while applying which will surely clear your doubts

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to opt for b.com Teachers are good students here have various skills which will surely help you too. Teachers are well qualified in their subjects. There are total 6 semesters and question paper is prepared in such a manner that every student can gain passing marks

There are various companies that offer internships You'll get soo many fun activities to do and side by side projects and works which will definitely help you to develop new skills inside you So go for it

Placement Experience

Campus placement is available for all the students rather they are freshers or an old student There are various companies my glam amazon flipkart Unilever etc. Since I haven't yet applied for the internship I don't have any idea I'll let you know soon After getting my degree I'll be doing MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

Study as per fees is too affordable 7k for a year what else one wants!! No, I did not have any scholarship as such till now as everything is going on online but once the pandemic is over you will get various benefits

Campus Life

There are various fests which are conducted during the month of February by various societies for example Commerce society Placement society Fashion society And yes Satywati has a huge ground where you can go for the sports in which you have an interest There are various non-profit organization run by the students

Interview Experience

There were no interview group discussions or written tests for admission. Admission process was done online 7-8 cut-offs were out and as per your 12th marks you can go for the college While the admission process if you face any problem you can easily get it sorted

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences.
